| In this project, carried out between the years of 1980 and 1998, adaptation status of 19 Olive Cultivars, consisted of 15 domestic and 4 foreign ones, were searched in Kemalpaşa conditions. Characteristics related to growth, yield and crop were determined on the trees of the studied cultivars. Besides, phenological observations related to flowering and ripening periods were done and the effects of external factors on the cultivars were investigated.
In conclusion, adaptation status of the cultivars were determined by scoring made according to ‘Weighed Rankit Method ‘ The findings showed that Memcik, Samanlı, Domat, Manzanilla Ascolana and Hojiblanca adapted well to the region as compared to the other studied cultivars. |
