The aim of this project is to determine the formation condations of Thruba olive. In this project Kaba and Karaca olive varieties of Karaburun district and Erkence olive variety of İzmir district were used as material and were studied the reasons of the formation of thruba olive.
In the conclusion, a fungus (phoma oleae), variety and climate were determined to be effective on the formation of this kind of olive. Non-effect of the soil was observed.
