| In this research, 1200 and 1600 ppm concentrations of Cycocel (%40) were applied on two local varieties “Ayvalık and Memecik” at two dates which were 15 and 30 days before the blossom time.
The following results were obtained by cycocel application;
- An increase on the fruit sat by rotarding the shoot growth in non productive and low productive year.
- An increase ın the crop
- A decrease in the fruit size
- No negative effects on the vitality of trees
It was determined that Cycocel and same synthetics can be used in olive varieties rather than table olive varieties. |
