110 orchards have been selected in Muğla, İzmir, Manisa provinces of wich Memecik, Domat and Ayvalık varieties were grown. 220 soil samples were collected from those orchards which were taken from the layers 0-30 and 30-60 cm.again 220 plant samples were taken in the high and low yield years. The profile % CACO3 structure, pH, salt, total N, Uptakeable P-K-Ca-Mg analysis of soil and N, P, K, Ca, Mg analysis of plant samples were done. The following results were concluded. - In general then content of Ege soils is not sufficient ıt ıs remarkable that there is a difference between locations example; it is sufficient in Edremit but very low in Akhisar area. - N suplly (Enrichment) is important for Ege olive plantations it is recommended that organic manure should be given or/and ıf possible green fertilization should be done to improve the soil structure. - P content of leaves and also soil was found very poor so P supply should be considered an important issue. - It was determined that there is a negative correlation between CaCO3 and P content of the soil then P supply in volume and its application have to be weel calculated regarding. The “P Fixation” in high CaCO3 contending soils. - K demand can be vary among the varieties K level was determined high in Ayvalık but lowes in Memecik it was also determined that the K content of the soil in körfez area, in which Ayvalık variety is located, was high and there was a positive correlation between soil and plant K content. - As a result it can be said (advised) K fertilization should be done in order to increase the yield in Muğla, İzmir and Akhisar olive plantations. - There is not a significant problem of Ca and Mg supply in the regions, since Ca and Mg level of soil and plants are above limits. The general soil structure is clayey, sandy, clay, fine sandy clay, notr or low alkali and there is not salt problem.
