| In this trial herbacous cuttings of Memecik, Ayvalık, Domat, Gemlik and Uslu varieties were used as materials. Cuttings were treated with different concentrations of IBA, IAA, NAA to encourage rooting and two different rooting media as Tuff and Perlite were used. According to the varieties the following results were obtained:
Memecik:
- Tuff was found better than Perlite.
- 2000 ppm of IBA, IAA and NAA were found effective.
Ayvalık:
- No difference was seen between Tuff and Perlite.
- 2000 ppm of IBA, IAA, NAA were found effecive.
Gemlik:
Tuff was found better than Perlite.
- 2000 ppm of IBA was found effective.
Domat:
No difference was seen between Tuff and Perlite.
2000 ppm of NAA gave the best result in Tuff and Perlite.
Uslu:
- No difference was seen between Tuff and Perlite.
- 2000 ppm of IBA, IAA, and NAA were found effective in two medias.
As a result : 2000 ppm of IBA can be used for Uslu, Memecik, Ayvalık, Gemlik varieties in Tuff media.
2000 ppm of NAA can be suggested for Domat, Memecik, Ayvalık, Uslu, varieties except Gemlik. |
