| Ayvalık and Memecik varieties, those extended as large plantations in our country were used as materials in this study. Measurements for Ayvalık variety were made in Edremit, for Memecik variety in Muğla.
Close relations were found between the climatic factors and the vegetative growth. Besides the climatic factors, there were also relations among the organs of the tree.
From the determination of two sites total temperatures; it was detected that, it is possible to transfer and adapt Ayvalık variety to South Aegean Site which extends at the North or Memecik variety to North Aegean Site which extends at the South.
Under the light of all these knowledge, it is tought, that previously Memecik variety could adapt well in Antalya region. |
