Proje adı : RESEARCHES ON THE THREE TYPE OF FERTILIZER APPLICATIONS ON INTENSIVE PLANTATIONS (1984)
Hazırlayanlar : Mesut ÇAKIR Özgül CANÖZER
In this study, the three of the application methods of P and K fertilizer and their effects on yield were investigated along the 13 years. These were: Broadcasting on the soil surface under the tree crown, Placement into a band in interrows and into the root depth, with a fertilizer machine, Deep placement into the planting pits which will meet the long-term P and K needs of the olive tress (for 15 years). 416 plantings of Memecik variety grafted on wild olives were used as the material, in the trial plots arranged in conformity with the factorial Randomized Plot desing. The fixed yearly dosages of the P, K fertilizers used in this experiment were : 0.8 kg. potassium sulphate (50 % K20) and 0.8 kg. superhosphate (18 % P205) per tree. According to the result obtained, the first method i.e. broadcasting on the soil surface was found more effective on the yield than the other both. The analysis results showed that K and P contents of the leaves of all plots were near the normal limits which were found 0.56-0.61 as percentage of dry matter for K and 0.061-0.078 as percentage of dry matter for P. However, the second method was seen a little more effective for K fertilizer, whereas the first method was found better for P fertilizers In this study, the three of the application methods of P and K fertilizer and their effects on yield were investigated along the 13 years.
