| The production of tree existence decreased %35-40 percent in our country. Under this circumstances, it was difficult to apply trees pruning and insecticide.
Besides it was diffcult to harvest from these kınds of trees and it causes highly cost price. The aim in project is estimated regeneration method. Old age and decreased productive tress of Çakır variety were used as material and applied following treatments.
- Devoloping bottom shoots were used as substitution .
- Wild shoots were grafted.
- Grafted young nursery plants were planted to vacant places
- Old age and decreased productive trees were retained (witness)
- The conclusions that can be used in application can be summarized as following:
-The best conclusions in regeneration was reached in view of progression with cutting from bottom and young sigs shoots substitution and wild shoots grafting folloued that.
- Progess and production in regeneration type which grafted young nursery plants were planted to vacant place was lower than any other regeneration.
- Regenerated trees were higher quality than that of witness tree. It was done a comparison between them according to crop quality. |
