This research was done to compare the olive plants which were obtained by rooting of the cuttings under mist-propagation with the plants which were obtained by grafting on the seedlings from the vegetative growth, bearing and productivity . Grafted saplings and saplings from cuttings of Memecik and Ayvalık varieties were used as materials. In this research the following experimental design was used. A randomized block with 4 replications of 4 trees spaced 9x9m. Total 64 olive plants were planted in the orchard.This study lasted in 10 years and during this time data obtained from phenological phomological observations and yield. During the first years the saplings which were obtained from cuttings gave positive results because of vegetative growth and bearing more than the others.
